The Michigan Chapter of NASF (MINASF) hosted over 50 attendees at the Detroit office of Butzel Long for the annual MINASF Auto Show Meeting. The highlight of this year’s meeting was speaker Mike Wall from IHS Automotive. Mr. Wall gave an exciting and thorough analysis of the North American automotive industry, including sales and trends.
The MINASF annual Auto Show Meeting takes place during Industry Preview week of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) at Cobo Arena. It is a big draw for members and friends alike. Attendees enjoy networking with fellow and prospective members, followed by a visit to the NAIAS.
The MINASF Executive Board delivered the annual update, which included several success stories of 2015 events and a preview of events to come in 2016. Education and advocacy are the primary focuses for MINASF events. Upcoming events include (all dates to be announced soon):
- Annual Tech Meeting in Grand Rapids
- Bright Design Challenge in Detroit
